MONTHLY FITNESS PRICES
All passes expire on the LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH.
All passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
Aquatic Fitness classes are not included in fitness passes.
Prepaid Passes must be purchased before 2:00pm for same-day use.
Passes purchased after 2:00pm will be available for the next day.
Classes are now 55 minutes long starting on the hour beginning 2017.

AQUATIC FITNESS PACKAGE

(August 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30)
Regular fitness classes are separate and

not included in aquatic fitness package.

ONLINE REGISTRATION

**WORKOUT OR ATHLETIC ATTIRE STANDARDS**

For all instructors and participants:
  • Modest shorts above the knee, sweats, and appropriate gym clothing.
  • Modest T-shirts which cover the back and midriff.  NO low neckline, NO thin material where sports bra can be seen through.  NO cut-off neck-line or sleeves.
  • Tank tops are modest and thick on the shoulder/neck, tight around the armpit so underclothing or sports bras are not exposed.  NO spaghetti straps or razor backs; NO shirts that pinch in the back.  However, wearing tank tops in the Fitness center is prohibited.
  • Appropriate footwear is required for all classes except Yoga, Taekwondo, and Capoeira.
  • Swimsuits must be modest in fabric, fit and style (no bikini, two-piece or French-cut styles).

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

NOTE:
  1. We accept credit card payment by VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover over the phone or in the office.  
  2. Passes expire at the end of each month. Please be sure that your purchase will allow you to use the multiple pass within the month (see calendar above). If you purchase a multiple pass after the 15th or 20th, the unused passes will not carry over into the next month.
  3. Pre-paid passes for same-day use must be purchased before 2:00 p.m. by telephone or in person at the Educational Outreach Office.
  4. Passes may be purchased on the last week of each month for future months at the Dance Studio, 15 minutes prior to classes starting with the monitor.
 
Telephone Registration

  1. Registration by telephone (808-675-3780) is available for pre-paid single & monthly passes from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (HST). Pre-paid passes for same-day use must be purchased before 2:00 p.m. Purchases after 2:00 p.m. will be used for the following day. Promotional prices are not available by phone.
  2. Payments must be made by credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).
 
Registration at Outreach office.
  • Registration in person is available at the Educational Outreach office from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays. Pre-paid passes same-day passes must be purchased before 2:00 p.m. or used for the following day.
  • Complete registration form and make payment with Financial Services. Payments can be made by cash, check, or credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).
  • Submit receipt to Educational Outreach with registration form and waiver.
Onsite (Walk-ins) Registration at the door (Evening Classes ONLY)

If class capacity is open after pre-paid passes have been admitted, walk-ins will be able to pay onsite at the door for the class. Class size is limited by the room occupancy limit so admittance will be on a first-come-first-serve basis after pre-paid passes.

We highly recommend that you purchase a pre-paid pass. Promotional prices are not available at the door for walk-ins.

Aquatic Fitness/Aqua Zumba
Instructor:  Marlynn Hunter @ BYUH McKay Pool
Aquatic Fitness/Aqua Zumba provides a water exercise program with reduced impact on the joints but at the same time using the water's resistance to challenge the muscles and build cardiovascular, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition.  Add Latin flavor to the classic aqua aerobics to enjoy Aqua Zumba which uses large muscle movement dance routines such as cha-cha, merengue, salsa, reggaeton and mambo.  Come join the splash party!

Body Toning
Instructor:  Z Yadao
Body Toning is another form of body conditioning or resistance training using free weights and/or resistant bands. It targets strength building and muscular endurance. A great class to add variety to your exercise regimen.

High Fitness
 Instructor: Cassie Lee @ Dance Studio
 High Fitness is a hardcore fun fitness class that incorporates interval training with music you love, and intense, easy to follow choreography. It combines FUN (pop songs of old and new that everybody knows and loves) with INTENSITY (interval, plyometrics and cardio). High Fitness produces a high caloric burn and full body toning through its carefully formulated choreography that alternates between intense cardio peaks and toning tracks. No better way to describe it then "body sculpting fun!"

POUND

A full-body cardio jam session, combining light resistance with constant simulated drumming. The workout fuses cardio, Pilates, isometric movements, plyometrics and isometric poses into a 30- to 45-minute series. Burn between 600 and 900 calories per hour (Information from www.poundfit.com)

Stability Ball

The Stability Ball class can train your whole body with fun and innovative moves. Stability ball exercises is effective in building balance, stability, and pillory strength (foundation for all movement consisting of your hip, core, and shoulder stability).

Yoga Fit
Instructors:  Cherry Goo (sub Lorraine Matagi)
A complete mind and body workout that combines dynamic breathing and strong flowing movement to create a high-heat and high-energy workout. Participants learn a sequence of postures that build strength, unwind tight joints and muscles. Develop concentration and reduce stress. This is a mixed level class. Wear non-restrictive "in standards" clothing and bring a towel or yoga mat.

Zumba®

A dynamic workout that will blow you away! This workout fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow routines using interval training sessions with fast and slow rhythms combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest in to the mix and you've got Zumba®!

Zumba® Toning(w/zumba toning sticks [optional])

Its an exciting, Latin inspired, dance 'n tone program.  This is the original dance-fitness class taken to the next level.  ZUMBA® TONING is an innovative muscle training program with the addition of light weight toning sticks (2 1/2 lb, sand filled toning sticks, which are very similar to maracas). In a relatively short period of time, this challenging workout helps in building coordination and muscle  endurance.   Now that you've worked on your lower body rhythm, its time to perfect the upper body!  The NEW and exciting Zumba® toning program is designed to offer the participant a safe, yet effective total body toning workout!  Purchase of toning sticks required.
